Four international companies submitted their revised bids to construct a petrochemical plant being developed by Kayan Petrochemicals in Saudi Arabia, sources told Reuters. The firms include Fluor Corp from the US, South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering and Construction, Daelim Industrial Co and Taiwan’s CTCI. The contract is expected to be given by the end of February, the source said.
The plant, which is expected to produce 210,000 tonne per year, is part of a bigger complex located in Jubail.
