Giorgio Armani anxious about Burj hotel design

Fashion designer Giorgio Armani has said he is worried that his first hotel project, the Armani Hotel Dubai in Burj Khalifa, may look “old” when it opens on March 18, reports Arabian Business, quoting US fashion magazine Woman’s Wear Daily.

“I’ve been working on this for five years. I’m finally going to see what I designed, and it’s a bit nerve-racking to think that what I liked five years ago might look old now,” the designer reportedly the magazine.

The hotel, which has been developed by Armani along with Emaar Properties, announced last month that room bookings were open, and that rates will start at AED1,700 ($463) per night for the studios.
