A two-day strike called by bank employees in India on August 6-7 could delay remittances sent from banks and exchange houses in the UAE, reports Emirates Business. “Money remitted by Non-Resident Indians will reach the target banks but will not reach their accounts or ATM machines,” Joseph Thomas, chief representative, IndusInd Bank, told the paper.
