Kuwait has blocked several blogs and websites that had links with “terror” groups, the communications ministry under-secretary Abdulmohsen Al Mazeedi told Kuwait’s An Nahar newspaper.
“The ministry has blocked blogs … used by some to communicate with terror cells and extremist groups,” he said, adding that the ministry had also blocked sites criticizing the Amir, and those which promoted pornography.
However, MPs in Kuwait have blamed the ministry of breaching the constitution, and have threatened to question Communications Minister Mohammed Al Baseeri in parliament, reports Gulf Daily News.
