A woman in Kuwait died of the H1N1 virus only hours after giving birth by caesarean section, reports government news agency KUNA. The woman, who was eight-months pregnant and in her mid-20s, was also diagnosed with a respiratory system infection.
Her death marks the second swine flu-related fatality in Kuwait. There are 1,072 confirmed cases in Kuwait, according to official figures.
