The chairman of the Committee for the DSF, he is Suhail’s boss. In May this year, Suhail joined Sheikh Ahmed, as he unveiled the new DSF Office brand identity following a decree by Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed to establish the DSF Office as an independent department of the Dubai government.
The president of the department of Civil Aviation, Sheikh Ahmed is the CEO and chairman of the Emirates Group. He has headed the civil aviation department since 1985 and oversees the activities of the Dubai International Airport, Dubai Cargo Village, Dubai Duty Free, and Dubai Aviation Club.
He is also chairman of the Le Meridien Dubai, the Dubai Golf Club and the British University in Dubai.
