Suhail worked with UAE’s Minister of Environment and Water during the DSS this year, when he inaugurated the Recycled Art Exhibition. The exhibition displayed works by around 50 artists from 15 nations, made from different waste materials like aluminum cans, scrap metal, plastic, and paper waste.
Bin Fahad praised the efforts undertaken by the DSF Office to organize this event and promised to “enhance the ministry’s cooperation with the DSF Office to organize more of such events.”
Bin Fahad was appointed Minister in February this year, and earlier was the secretary-general, of the GCC Standardization Organization, and the vice-chairman and deputy director of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology. He has a PhD in civil engineering and started his career in the Dubai Municipality.
