Low-cost airlines ‘will double Mideast market share’
FlyDubai boss says there is room for growth for in the ‘underserved’ sector.

Low-cost airlines in the Middle East are set to double their share of the aviation market, according to the CEO of budget carrier FlyDubai.
Ghaith Al Ghaith told Bloomberg that discount airlines such as FlyDubai, Air Arabia and Jazeera Airways could boost their share of the market to 15 percent from the current 7 percent.
“There is definitely room to improve and grow,” Al Ghaith said, adding that the market is “underserved”.
