A US soldier who went missing in Afghanistan in June, and is allegedly being held by the Taliban, appeared in a video that was broadcast by Qatar-based news channel Al Jazeera on Sunday.
The soldier was reportedly kidnapped in the southeastern Paktika province. The Taliban commander confirmed last week the group is holding the solider.
