Mobily posts $280 million Q4 net profit
The Saudi-based telecom operator saw higher-than expected results.

Saudi-based telecom operator Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) said that its net profit during the fourth quarter of 2009 increased by 35 percent – from SAR778 million during the same period last year to SAR1.05 billion ($280.5) this year. The net profit was much higher than analysts’ forecasts, says Reuters.
Mobily said that it will issue dividends of SAR1.25 per share to its shareholders for 2009.
