A concrete bridge under construction for the New Delhi metro rail system fell on Sunday, killing five workers and injuring 13 others, reports The Associated Press.
Three workers died at the site, and two died at the hospital.
The accident occurred on Sunday morning as workers were lifting concrete slabs, police spokesman Mohammed Iqlaq said.
A similar accident occurred in October 2008, which killed two people and injured at least 11 others.
New Delhi’s six-year-old metro is one of the largest in India.
