US-based News Corp may approve a deal to buy a 10 percent stake in Saudi Arabia’s Rotana Media later this week, sources familiar with the matter told Zawya Dow Jones. News Corp, owned by Rupert Murdoch, will have the choice to increase its stake to 20 percent later, says the report.
Executives from both the companies are expected to meet on Tuesday to finalize the deal, the report adds.
