Kim Jong-il, North Korea’s controversial leader, reportedly has life-threatening pancreatic cancer, according to South Korean TV news channel YTN, reports the BBC. YTN claims the 67-year-old leader was diagnosed with cancer in 2008.
Jong-il looked weak and walked with a limp during his last public appearance on July 8, the 15th anniversary of his father’s death.
The South Korean spy agency, however, was unable to confirm YTN’s report.
