A prominent Lebanese Shiite cleric criticized US president Barack Obama for failing to improve ties between Arab nations and the West, reports the Associated Press.
Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah voiced his criticism during a sermon on Friday in southern Beirut. In April, the cleric said he believed Obama is keen on improving the Arab world’s “ugly image” in the West.
