OPEC consensus: keep output unchanged

The majority of OPEC members believe that there should be no change in oil output at Wednesday’s meeting in Vienna, according to Kuwait’s oil minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Abdullah al-Sabah.

When asked about the issue at Kuwait’s parliament, Sheikh Ahmad said there would be “no change”, according to a report by Reuters.

Saudi Arabia’s oil minister told reporters on Monday that OPEC may not need to adjust output policy this year if the oil market remains stable and the global economy continues to recover.
