A bomb blast killed three people and injured 37 others on Sunday morning in Catobato City, Philippines, reports CNN. Early reports suggest the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the nation’s largest Muslim separatist organization, is behind the attack.
The blast occurred in a restaurant near the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, where Sunday morning mass was in session.
“The wounded and killed were mostly soldiers,” said Philippine armed forces Major Randolph Cabangbang.
