Prince Alwaleed in further talks with Murdoch
Saudi billionaire met with News Corp boss to discuss Rotana deal and other potential alliances

Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal held meetings with News Corp boss Rupert Murdoch to discuss investments, according to a statement from the prince’s office quoted by Zawya Dow Jones.
According to the Zawya report, the meetings “touched upon future potential alliance with News Corp”, adding that both Rotana and LBCSAT were discussed. The meetings took place in New York on January 14.
Last month it emerged that News Corp is in talks to buy a 10 percent stake in Rotana Media Services, which is wholly owned by Prince Alwaleed.

Rupert Murdoch stirs the world’s media with his biased opinions. If he buys a share of a Middle East media corp, wonder how will that turn out.
Great respect for Al Waleed and his brilliant business mind, but would prefer if it was the other way around. Perhaps Al Waleed could have influenced and corrected the bad pubilcity that has been showering the region.
