Qatar Telecommunications Co (QTEL) announced a second quarter net profit of QAR 1.044 billion ($287 million), up 58.6 percent against the same period last year. Total revenue for the period hit QAR 4.230 billion ($1.162).
Commenting on the company’s postings, Nasser Marafih, CEO of the Qtel Group said, “We have deepened our presence across our international markets in the period and have worked hard to stay close to our customers’ needs ensuring that we increasingly become the communications service provider of choice in the markets in which we operate.
