The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) responded to allegations that only nine out of the 29 stations on Dubai Metro’s Red Line will be ready for the September 9 launch.

A spokesperson for the RTA told Dubai-based Arabian Business that all metro stations will be open on time:  ”We announced before that we are opening all stations and there is nothing beyond that at this point in time,” he said in response to a report in Dubai-based news website Maktoob Business.

“You should take what comes out of the RTA,” the spokesperson added.

The RTA has obviously been studying the Etisalat “how to win hearts and minds” playbook with that brilliant recommendation that we should “take what comes out of the RTA.”

    Stunning PR.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Oh stop it I’ll be ill.

Even my wife asked the other day how they intend to open all the stations with so much scaffolding up around them.

Try working out how either TECOM or Al Quoz will be workable with the current chaos around the stations..
