Laborers working on the Dubai Metro’s Red Line may be exempt from the UAE’s midday work ban during summer, reports Arabian Business. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has requested the Ministry of Labor for an exemption from the ban in order to stick to its September 9 deadline.

The midday work ban was enforced on July 1, and gives laborers who work under the sun a two and a half hour break, from 12.30pm to 3pm.

the labourer are already exploited so its not new to do such procedure , but the question here ?? do the RTA authority really looks at the right of there laboures , do they belive to safety first like they wrot anywhere in dubai project ??? do they pay those labourer for the break time ? and haw they will calculate it ?? overtime or double like develloped country ??
