Saudi inflation rose to 4.6 percent in February

Saudi Arabia’s annual inflation rate increased to 4.6 percent in February this year, compared to 4.1 percent in January, according to the Kingdom’s Central Department of Statistics and Information (CDSI). Saudi’s cost of living index rose 126.1 points in February, up from 125.5 points in January and 120.6 points during the same period last year.

The index for rent, fuel and housing-related services increased 0.7 percent in February compared to January, while the food and beverages index rose 0.9 percent during the period.
