Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, has signed up to Twitter and has 1,208 followers. He created the account in June, but Twitter’s administrators confirmed his identity after having contacted him recently, reports The National.
The royal has been tweeting under the name HHShkMohd, and posted his last tweet on July 10: “[Will] be able to confirm in 10 days time, the date when Private and British schools will be reopening in the,” he wrote.
In June, the royal created a Facebook account, giving the public a glimpse of his family life.
