Six people were killed in a fire on Sunday at a workers camp close to the Khursaniyah oilfield in Saudi Arabia, a source at Consolidated Contractors International told Reuters. The fire had no effect on the oil and gas output from the oilfield, which produces 500,000 barrels per day.
The dead apparently included workers from Bangladesh.
According to the source, another fire broke out at the camp on Monday, and the Saudi police are investigating the two fires.
