Subcontractors vie for UAE nuclear work
Korea Electric Power Corporation to award $10 billion of engineering and construction subcontracts to other Korean companies.

Korea Electric Power Corporation will award three contracts worth a total of $10 billion to Korean engineering and construction subcontractors, according to a report by Bloomberg.
“Contracts are under negotiation and will be awarded in the next two months,” executive VP Jun-Yeon Byeon told the news service. “Three main contracts will be half the total cost of $10 billion.”
Korea Electric agreed to build four nuclear plants in the UAE by 2020, in a deal worth $20 billion.
