The Tiger Woods-endorsed golf course and residential development being built in Dubai is still on track, despite the property slump and the fact that the golfer has had other sponsorship deals dropped due to his marital infidelity.
A report by Bloomberg quoted Khalid al-Malik, CEO of Dubai Properties, which is behind the development, as saying that the “project is ongoing”.
“We haven’t decided yet on a date for its completion or delivery to the market,” he added. The gold course was originally due to be finished by September 2009. Al-Malik said that there were no plans to cut ties with Woods following the revelations over the golfer’s affairs.
