The number of tourists to the UAE may decrease this year, because of the economic slowdown, says a report released by financial analysts Business Monitor International (BMI). The report says that the number of arrivals has fallen by three percent this year, compared to the figures in 2008.
“The forecast of negative growth in tourist arrivals in 2009 remains 3 percent year-on-year,” the report said, adding that situation may improve in 2010.
