Donald Trump Junior, the vice president of the Trump Organization said that the future of the Trump International Hotel and Tower on Palm Jumeirah depended on developer Nakheel. “I’d love to go forward within two years,” he told The National. “We’re not an equity investor… The ball is in their court. They will make the determination going forward because it is their dollar being spent.”
The project was announced in 2008, but was put on hold after the global financial crisis hit the region.
