U.S. wheat bid lowest in Lebanon wheat tender

U.S. hard red winter was offered at $333.47 a tonne c&f for 25,000 tonnes sought for shipment between Sept 1-17 for arrival a maximum one month later.

U.S. wheat was the lowest bid in the Lebanese government tender to purchase up to 50,000 tonnes of milling wheat, which closed on Tuesday, European traders said.

U.S. hard red winter was offered at $333.47 a tonne c&f for 25,000 tonnes sought for shipment between Sept 1-17 for arrival a maximum one month later, traders said.

The lowest bid for 25,000 tonnes for spot shipment was $339.38 a tonne c&f from the Baltic States of Lithuania or Latvia.

Results were still awaited.
