Many police personnel will have to give up their jobs if tighter visitor visa rules are implemented, particularly with no thieves to catch!

The country is planning to grow as a tourist destinations. Such rule make it more difficult to attract visitors and keeping in mind the high number of expatriates with family and friends visiting them from time to time. In reality the UAE will lose more than what it will benefit as the money spent by tourist will go to other destinations which are already more affordable and in some cases have better attractions.

A better approach would be to ban such violaters from entering the country again. At the same time to apply rules with other countries based on the same treatement Emiratis get from thembut keeping in mind the need to maintain a balanced demography in the country.

How ridiculous. Do the authorities really expect that all visitors will go to the trouble of obtaining a clean police record. They will just go somewhere else. Should my 75 year old mother-in law who arrives tonight have to obtain a clean police record before she visit us or should the residents of Dubai live in fear she might steal their wallets while in Mall of the Emirates.

I DONT THINK IT IS A GOOD DECISION TO MAKE WELL PEOPLE WHO SPONSOR SUCH ELEMENTS SHOULD ALSO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST THEM AND NO EVERYONE.
