Public and private schools will close from the first day of Eid Al Adha, either November 27 or 28 – depending on the moon sighting – till December 6, four days after National Day, the Minister of Education said.
Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami said the ministry wants to give students and school staff an opportunity to celebrate the UAE’s 38th National Day. He also lauded schools’ efforts to instill national pride in their students.
