UAE’s Dana Gas records AED392m Q2 net profit

Dana Gas has announced that it saw a net profit of AED392 million for the second quarter of 2009, as compared to AED34 million during the same period last year. The company attributed its good results to its performance in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, where it entered into partnership agreements with two European integrated oil and gas groups – OMV, Austria’s largest listed industrial company, and MOL, Hungary’s largest listed company.

The company made net profits of AED 360 million during the first half of the year, with revenues of AED550 million.
