The UAE chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) has announced that it has launched the international Hopenhagen campaign in the country. The campaign basically invites individuals and organizations to push for action on climate change at the United Nation’s Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this December. The idea is to get signatures for the ‘Climate Change’ petition, which calls for a climate treaty that is “ambitious, fair and effective in reducing emissions.”
The campaign has managed to gain support from many international media outlets so far, who have donated millions of dollars in TV, print, radio, out-of-home and online advertising to raise awareness.
