In cooperation with SSS Process, the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) inaugurated the first phase of its project for automating the work process used by the nation’s civil institutions concerned with domestic violence cases.
Reviewed by Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah last year, the automation project seeks to develop the work mechanism used nationally in following up on battering cases to ensure a prompt response through the system which allows sharing of files and reviewing cases, linking them with the concerned governmental departments through a secure, integrated environment.
In his comment, CEO of SSS Process, Dr. Alaa Ensheiwat, said: “We recognize NCFA’s keenness to deploy the latest technological systems into its workplace. We also appreciate the trust that it has in our technical expertise and business automation solutions which are capable of directly connecting its data base with the concerned parties, including Public Security Directorate, Family Protection Department, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, and Jordan River Foundation.”
“We hope that the system will contribute to reducing the incidents of family violence in the Kingdom and will increase the ability of national institutions to track them more efficiently. This hope is supported by the fact that the project was developed using Appian technology, which guarantees the best automation methods and provides the top means of communication between all concerned parties,” Dr. Ensheiwat added.
It is worth mentioning that the domestic violence system is one of the leading projects that intend to better protect children from abuse and help victims recover, given that Jordan is a pioneering state in protecting the rights of the child.
