Orange Pharmacy opens its sixth branch in Amman

Saturday, August 11, 2012 Amman- In a pioneering step aiming to supply its comprehensive pharmaceutical services to a larger number of customers, Orange Pharmacy inaugurated its new branch in Dabouq amid an opening ceremony that was attended by a large number of representatives from drug companies, health insurance providers, medical establishments, and the medical clinics adjacent to the new branch which is located in Kakish complex near Khalda circle.

In a pioneering step aiming to supply its comprehensive pharmaceutical services to a larger number of customers, Orange Pharmacy inaugurated its new branch in Dabouq amid an opening ceremony that was attended by a large number of representatives from drug companies, health insurance providers, medical establishments, and the medical clinics adjacent to the new branch which is located in Kakish complex near Khalda circle.
In his comment, the General Manager of Orange Pharmacy network, Ziad Abu Sheikha, said: “The launch of this branch is part of our strategic plans to expand our network in Amman while looking for opportunities to penetrate new markets in the remaining provinces.”
“This strategically-located branch is expected to give residents of Dabouq and the surrounding areas better access to the latest drugs and value-added services which include but are not limited to responding to medical inquiries received from consumers and providing pharmaceutical information and advice to all community segments,” Abu Sheikha added.
For his part, Orange Pharmacy’s Business Development Manager, Dr. Mohammad Al-Taji, said: “We are delighted at Orange Pharmacy to add a new branch to our chain of integrated drug stores which are run by experienced and highly qualified pharmacists who are committed to delivering the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to consumers.”
Dr. Al-Taji added that Orange Pharmacy’s additional expansion plans for this year include the opening of three more stores situated in three different strategic locations within the capital, noting that other branches will be launched later across the Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that the first branch of Orange Pharmacy began its operations in 2007 and since then five other branches have been launched in Amman to cover the health care needs of its residents.
