Al-Futtaim Logistics wins Caterpillar account to provide 3PL services
Caterpillar’s PDC has been developed to increase the velocity of product through the supply chain and therefore improve delivery time to its dealers.

Dubai, May 03, 2010: Al-Futtaim Logistics, the market leading supply chain management solutions provider, today announced a new contract to provide Third-party Logistics (3PL) services for Caterpillar in the Middle East.
Caterpillar is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines.
The Al-Futtaim group company will provide customs brokerage in to and out of Dubai, freight forwarding services in addition to complete road transportation solutions for Caterpillar’s Product Distribution Center in Dubai.

Caterpillar’s PDC has been developed to increase the velocity of product through the supply chain and therefore improve delivery time to its dealers. The PDC provides high levels of sustained services and short availability.
