Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital present AED 100,000 to Dubai Cares

The funds were partly raised through the charity walk that was organized by Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital in partnership with the DIFC in March 2010.

Bank Sarasin-Alpen (ME) Limited, a subsidiary of Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd, a leading Swiss private bank along with its investment banking associate Alpen Capital (ME) Limited presented AED 100,000 to support Dubai Cares’ efforts to enhance education efforts in Haiti.
Rohit Walia, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital Group handed over the cheque to Mr. Tariq Al Gurg, CEO of Dubai Cares at the presentation ceremony held at the offices of Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital.
The funds were partly raised through the charity walk that was organized by Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital in partnership with the DIFC in March 2010. The four art installations on the four elements of earth, fire, wind and water created during the walk were also auctioned in April 2010 to further raise funds for charity. The amount collected at the walk as well as the art auction was further topped up by Bank Sarasin-Alpen and Alpen Capital at the presentation ceremony.
