Brocade Named Best Fixed Networking Vendor of the Year at Network Middle East Awards 2012

Award given in recognition of the networking vendor's impressive product portfolio and technology innovations

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – 21 June, 2012- Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) today announced that it has won Network Middle East magazine’s ‘Best Fixed Networking Vendor of the Year’ 2012 award. The ceremony was held at the the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hotel in Dubai on 19 June, 2012. The award which was accepted by Sufian Dweik, Regional Manager – Middle East and North Africa (MENA), recognized the networking vendor’s significant contribution in the field of virtualization, its advancements in the delivery of fabric-based network solutions and its innovative subscription-based procurement model for network infrastructure.

The eighth annual Network Middle East Innovation Awards brought together the top networking professionals and vendors from across the Middle East. With a total of 20 awards being given out at the ceremony, competition was stiff with winners in each category being chosen by a vendor-neutral panel of networking professionals from the Middle East and beyond.
