Brocade to Demonstrate Cloud-Optimized Networking Innovations at Partner Mindware’s Stand at Gitex 2012

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – 23^rd September 2012: Brocade, the industry leader in fabric networking, today announced that it will be participating at Gitex alongside its distributor Mindware. Brocade will feature its broad offering of cloud-optimized networking products and recent technology innovations. Brocade will also be one of the sponsors of ‘CONNECT 2012’, an event being organized by its other distributor Westcon Middle East during Gitex. Visitors will get an opportunity to learn more about a revolutionary switching platform, the Brocade^® VDX^® 8770 Switch, along with VCS^® Fabric technology enhancements that take data center network simplicity, efficiency and resiliency to a new scale.

 

Experts from Brocade will inform and educate show attendees about how fabric-based networks are providing the scalability, high performance and operational simplicity needed for highly virtualized and cloud environments. The company will showcase

the newly launched 24-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GbE) module for Brocade^® MLXe^® Series routers, having the industry’s highest core router density as well as Brocade CER, a fixed form-factor router which can be used to deliver a network virtualization solution capable of supporting multi-point logical networks with VLAN translation between customer sites.
