Cole Haan Debuts in Saudi Arabia with Store Opening at Star Avenue Mall in Jeddah

Cole Haan, the premier luxury fashion brand offering men’s and women’s footwear, accessories and outerwear, is taking luxury retail to the next level by opening a new store at the Star Avenue Mall in Jeddah.  The opening of this new boutique represents continued growth in the Middle East region as it is the third location to be opened within the past six months. The Cole Hann boutique will be opening in KSA in coordination with Al Etihad Company, which is the main distributor of Cole Hann in Saudi Arabia. Al Etihad Company was established recently in May 2009 to observe closely on Saudi women’s interests in fashion and present her with the latest trends in the global market.

 

Designed by Cole Haan in collaboration with Bonetti Kozerski Studio, the new concept store evokes the look of a California modernist home. The contemporary environment features polished stainless steel fixtures, stained wooden floors and lacquered walls and tables. The new design reflects Cole Haan’s brand vision: ingeniously weaving craftsmanship with innovation to enrich life’s experiences.

 

Appealing to both men and women, the store is fashioned with a distinct design aesthetic that speaks to each.  The women’s area features feminine touches that include muted floral print sofas and wall coverings, while the men’s lounge showcases oversized suiting fabrics, dressing the space in houndstooth and plaid.  Decorative details include tasselled handles on lacquered tables, fabric wrapped panels, and furniture in brilliant pops of tangerine bringing color to unexpected corners.  The Cole Haan signature weave design, seen in the brand’s handbag and footwear collections, is re-fabricated to add texture to furnishings and scale to graphic wall coverings.
