Comguard and gateProtect trains channel partners on Next Generation Firewalls

Comguard, a Dubai based leading value added distributor for IT products and part of the Spectrum group in association with gateProtect recently held a special training workshop for channel partners on gateProtect Next Generation Firewalls in Dubai. The workshop was a half day event which was attended by a large number of channel partners hailing from all across UAE.

Key executives and technical experts from both Comguard and gateProtect were present at the partner workshop. Technical experts from both the companies made several technical presentations and provided hands on training to partners on gateProtect Next Generation Firewalls at the workshop.  Channel partners were also updated about the latest market trends in the IT security industry to enhance their knowledge and keep them in tune with dynamics of the industry.

During the course of event, Sudarshan Avadhany, Business Manager, gateProtect shared the roadmap and highlighted the achievements of gateProtect in the Middle East region. While, Amarjot Dhanjal, Senior business development manager at Comguard updated their channel partners about the new changes incorporated in their channel program for the year 2013 and also introduced them to the benefits of partner portal.

The award-winning next generation firewall solutions from gateProtect are currently completing the prestigious, internationally recognized EAL4 + certification (“Evaluation Assurance Level 4plus”) Common Criteria. For government and enterprise network security administrators around the globe, EAL4+ stands as a key certification. Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) and the EAL 4+ Certification is an International Standard for information technology security certification determining the trustworthiness of security products.
