De Beers Jewellery for Men
April 7, 2009 12:00 by Aarti Nagraj
Men have worn diamonds as a symbol of power, strength and luck for more than 2000 years. The word diamond originates from the Greek “Adamas”, meaning indestructible.
Interestingly, it was not before the 15th century when women started to wear diamonds. This is why De Beers prides itself in having created collections dedicated exclusively to men, with powerful rough diamonds and masculine designs.
Exclusive design for men
Stephen Webster’s “Burning Rocks” collection illustrates masculinity and rugged appeal. It is perfect for today’s men and presents a range of 22 pieces featuring De Beers Signature rough diamond set in White and Yellow Gold with a mixture of coloured and white rough and polished diamonds.
New sharp look for men
The Talisman pieces for men range from the tags in stainless steel and diamonds to the cufflinks studded with Rough pyramid shaped diamonds.
All the pieces of the collection offer strong and regular patterns and organic shapes.
Talismans are worn for luck and protection, while reminding us how diamonds were first worn.
Price from AED 1,800, exclusively at De Beers Stores
