De Beers Presents the Inaara Collection
August 11, 2009 12:00 by Aarti Nagraj
The latest De Beers creation, an extravagant design of Round and Oval cut diamonds, is the ideal one of a kind wedding set.
It has taken the world’s finest jewellery craftsmen 300 hours to make this exceptional set.
The necklace is composed of 265 diamonds totaling 75.09 ct set in Platinum. The stones are elegantly intertwined, creating a natural looking asymmetrical pattern, where the Platinum is virtually invisible, and the diamonds float.
The matching earrings carry 56 diamonds, with a total of 8.30 ct and lastly the ring is made up of 13.30 ct of diamonds of which the central stone is a 2.06 ct Oval, gently surrounded by 34 other diamonds that seem to pivot around it like satellites. All are designed to reflect the De Beers sparkle to the brides.
It is not a coincidence that the name Inaara is derived from the Arabic word “Noor”, which means light. Women who will own this One off exceptional piece of jewellery will sparkle like no other.
De Beers Diamond Jewellers was established in 2001 as an independently managed and operated company by De Beers SA, the world’s premier diamond mining and marketing company, and LVMH Moët Henessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading luxury good company. De Beers now has fourty stores around the world including London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Kyoto, Istanbul and Dubai.
