eLearment, the Arab leading provider of e-learning systems and solutions, has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Target Scientific, Hitachi authorized reseller in Jordan, with the aim to develop interactive e-learning systems and supply educational infrastructures with well-developed interactive tools and resources.
Upon the agreement which was signed by eLearment’s CEO, Ashraf Nairoukh, and Target Scientific’s General Manager, Eng. Samir Ismail, Target Scientific will provide schools and educational institutions with Intel’s Classmate PC, a low-cost notebook meant for children to use at school and for learning, while eLearment will supply schools with its interactive e-learning solutions.
In his comment, Nairoukh welcomed the initiative, saying: “We are pleased to cooperate with Target Scientific to give people involved in the academic sector a unique interactive learning experience, given the fact that the technologically-advanced Classmate notebooks along with eLearment’s applications are specially designed to enhance educational delivery and facilitate learners’ understanding of different pedagogical concepts using multimedia presentation tools and sophisticated means.”
Nairoukh added: “Our partnership will introduce a qualitative leap forward in e-learning development. This is reinforced by the fact that Intel will provide the Classmate notebooks while eLearment will furnish educational institutions with curricula-related e-solutions, such as the Active Flip Book which allows direct interaction between students and tutors inside or outside the classroom on one hand, and among curricula authors on the other.”
In addition, Nairoukh pointed out that curricula authors can directly alter electronic materials at any time, a feature which is not available in other similar systems. Furthermore, the system has the advantage of evaluating students’ proficiency in a particular subject, thus helping them know the level of the course in which they should be placed.
For his part, Eng. Ismail expressed his pleasure for signing the agreement, praising the efficiency of eLearment’s virtual solutions whose highly-integrated and innovative tools make it a destination of choice for all academic institutions in the region.
“We will work together with our partners in eLearment to uncover all aspects of interactive e-learning and come up with an integrated package of virtual solutions that take the processes of learning and teaching to the next level,” Eng. Ismail added.
It is worth mentioning thatJordanis one of the most educationally-advanced countries in the Arab world, given that it depends on its human resources to support its economy and compensate for decreasing stocks of its natural resources.
Remarkably, eLearment, resorting to its state-of-the-art programming techniques and field expertise, created a wide range of technical solutions, including the Active Flip Book and virtual performance-based assessment, to help reduce poverty rates and address the state of paralysis in the virtual learning environment which was caused by previous poorly-developed e-learning systems.
