Emirates NBD aligned with Tanmia conducts the 6th open Recruitment day for UAE National trainees

As part of the banks’ efforts to attract, train and retain UAE National talent, Emirates NBD, the leading bank in the field of Emiratisation, conducted its 6th open day in cooperation with Tanmia. This time the event was held at TANMIA premises in Ras AL Khaima. During the open day, instant interviews were conducted at Emirates NBD’s stand for UAE Nationals interested in taking a Banking and Finance career path. In the past 5 events, Emirates NBD has recruited more than 100 UAE nationals. Whereas, the RAK event was an opportunity to collect the applications of 50 young UAE nationals who visited its booth and are interested in joining its workforce.
Emirates NBD has adopted an ambitious Emiratisation strategy which is built on supporting and participating in the various initiatives and events across the UAE. In this context, Emirates NBD continuously participates in the various career fairs and works closely with TANMIA, Zayed University and the Higher Colleges of Technology and the various Emiratisation organizations to identify potential talent. In addition, the bank coordinates with Special Needs institutions to employ qualified individuals with special needs in the various departments of the bank. Also, Emirates NBD considers Emiratisation a priority issue and continuously creates career opportunities to attract and retain UAE National talent.
Emirates NBD is at the forefront of investing in its staff by providing advanced knowledge and input in partnership with numerous world class business schools and professional development institutions. The bank has set up many training programs which include Al Mishaal program for high school graduates to qualify UAE Nationals to perform operational activities within the bank. The PAL (Program for Accelerated Learning) is Management Training for University Graduate UAE Nationals and qualifies them to join the bank as Managers and Assistant Managers in branches and departments. Al Shehab program for diploma graduates is designed to create a pool of talented UAE Nationals qualified to become Head Tellers/ Team Leaders/ Supervisors and also prepares them to become future Program for Accelerated Learning (PAL) trainees.
Recently, Emirates NBD celebrated the graduation of 125 UAE Nationals from the PAL (Program for Accelerated Learning) who joined employment in the Bank.
