DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 20 March, 2013- Help AG, a leading information security services and solutions provider in the Middle East, has announced that it has extended its relationship with Juniper Networks and will be the first reseller in the United Arab Emirates trained and certified to offer the networking vendor’s Juniper Networks® Junos® WebApp Secure solution. This revolutionary Intrusion Deception system delivers real-time protection, detects, tracks, profiles and prevents hackers in real-time, neutralizing threats against web-applications.

Research by Frost & Sullivan has identified web applications as one of the three main technologies to drive the deployment of integrated security appliances in the region through to 2018 due to the paradigm shift in communication to collaborative technologies, coupled with increased Internet penetration and information sharing.

Commenting on the addition of Junos WebApp Secure to Help AG’s extensive product portfolio, Stephan Berner, Managing Director of the company said, “As most of our customers are now delivering business applications through hosted services, we are specifically focusing on protecting their valuable resources published via web-applications. The Junos WebApp Secure solution is an additional security layer that is easily integrated with the existing web-application firewalls deployed by many of our customers thereby delivering comprehensive web-application protection without the prohibitive costs of a complete systems overhaul.”

Help AG’s Director of Technology Services, Nicolai Solling, believes the innovative approach of Junos WebApp Secure to identify and track malicious users and activity will give clients a level of security and visibility into attacks that is currently unmatched. Junos WebApp Secure’s deception detection technology can actively prevent attackers and stop even the most sophisticated zero-day web attacks.

Junos WebApp Secure is the first Web Intrusion Deception System that detects, tracks, profiles and prevents hackers in real-time.This visibility is one of the key features of the solution as behavior-based security is a cost effective approach that offers advanced protection against zero-day web attacks, automated hacker tools, and similar threats aimed at companies’ websites and web applications.

David Helfer, VP of Partners – EMEA, Juniper Networks said, “The partnership between Juniper Networks and Help AG has been highly successful and beneficial not only to both companies but also to our customers in the region.
