The competition focuses on providing participants with knowledge and tools necessary to set up and execute projects that will create job opportunities and help reduce unemployment rates.”
Habash noted that the participants have already won the national competitions organized by the national partners and supported by Intel. The partners for this year included: Berytech (Lebanon), Palestine Information and Communications Technology Incubator (Palestine) and Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (Jordan).
For his part, the Executive Director of QRCE, Farhan Kalaldeh, said: “We appreciate Intel’s constant keenness to support entrepreneurship programs at the local and regional levels, and their dedication to putting forth this and other initiatives with the aim of motivating youth and unleashing their capabilities to serve their communities.”

It has great potential to empower young people and enhance their competencies to help them turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures.”
The Intel Levant Business Plan competition is part of Intel Global Challenge, a worldwide Intel competition organized annually at UC-Berkeley, targeting university students, graduates and young entrepreneurs, to encourage them to develop their innovative technology business plans and reward ideas that have potential to become a new business or even a new industry.
