Upholding its legendary bond with the game of Polo, Jaeger-LeCoultre the luxury watchmaker, plays its role in the region’s Polo event- the Nation up 2009, by organizing a Polo Clinic.
Held at Desert Palm, a property of Ali Al Bwardy in Dubai, the clinic was conducted by Nick Roland, the renowned American Polo champion, exclusively for the Polo enthusiasts of Dubai.
Following this, a luxurious lunch was served at Desert Palm. Over lunch, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented the the Reverso Squadra World Chronograph Polo Field. Adolfo Cambiaso, the international Polo champion and the ambassador of Jaeger-LeCoultre, made the event even special with his star presence.
The game was played between Adolfo Cambiaso’s team representing Middle East nations and a second team representing the rest of the world. After an hour of the match, the prize was awarded to Adolfo Cambiaso’s winning team. A black Reverso Squadra Hometime was presented to the best player of the match, Rashid Ali Al Bwardy.
Jaeger-LeCoultre, being one of the main sponsors of the event, enjoyed a strong branding and presence across the field. Showcased here were around 30 of the brand’s best watches. The day ended on a very relaxing and gratifying note with cocktails and live music for the guests on the terrace.
The association between the game of Polo and Jaeger-LeCoultre dates back to the 1930s when a chronograph that could withstand the aggression of polo was created for the first time, by the Manufacture in the Valllee de Joux.
