In Dubai, Limelight Middle East will primarily focus on business PR and communications, ensuring that any PR or media strategy is integrated directly with a company’s development and sales programme. The agency will be implementing many of its trademarked services used by clients across the network, including its Advertising Amplification™ programme – a service that bolsters the publicity and popularity of an advertising campaign through public relations.

Managing Director for the Dubai office is former Corporate Communications Manager for Leo Burnett MENA, James Holmes.  Speaking about the launch, Holmes said; “We want to bring a high level of professionalism to the Middle East and Dubai PR industry, not just for the benefit of our clients but journalists and broadcasters too. Our understanding of the local media, the emphasis on standards and our bespoke methods of measurement will ultimately dictate our success. ”

Founder and CEO of Limelight Middle East is Susanna Simpson, a recognised entrepreneur in the UK who has also won PR Week’s Young PR professional of the year.  Simpson established Limelight in London in 2002. Since then it has won numerous awards that recognise the agency’s phenomenal growth, including the Best Integrated Campaign at the CIPR Excellence Awards.

Speaking about the agency launch, Simpson said: “The current economic conditions and chatter surrounding Dubai have not put us off.  We are confident that we have a compelling and commercial offering that will make a real difference to businesses in the Middle East.  Having worked with James for many years, I know he will be a brilliant leader of our new business.   There is a real gap in the market for our services, and with our ideas and energy I am sure we can make a real difference to the quality of business PR and communications in the region.”
