Major Expansion for Middle East Retail Group

The successful fashion franchising company, Alshamsi Holdings has begun its ambitious expansion plan to open a further 22 retail outlets in key malls across the UAE by 2010. Starting with Bahrain City Centre, the company has exclusively launched unisex Spanish brand, Desigual in September. Other stores include Okaidi; Obaibi the global French Kids wear brand and Parfois, a Portuguese accessories brand.

Duncan McLellan, Managing Director for the group says, By 2010 we are aiming to not only build upon our extensive portfolio of stores across the UAE, but to create over 200 career opportunities for all nationalities within the retail sector. We have an excellent understanding of the retailing market in the UAE and have a solid foundation for establishing and developing international fashion brands across the Middle East. These expansion plans will continue in Dubai Mall, where all stores mentioned will have a presence within the region’s largest destination mall.
Vincci, the popular Maylasian footwear label will also open a new store in the 1,200 outlet shopping emporium. Alshamsi Holdings has ensured that its outlets will be opening in an aggressive business expansion in Dalma Mall, Bawadi Mall, Qurum City Centre, Mall of Arabia and Marina Mall, Dubai.
