MEMAC Ogilvy & Mather LLC forges partnership with Arab International Women’s Forum
Founded in 2001, AIWF is the first independent non-profit organisation of its kind, serving as a voice for Arab women.

Award-winning regional agency, Memac Ogilvy & Mather LLC Dubai and Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF) have announced a strategic partnership to create greater public awareness of women’s success and prospects in the Arab world. Mrs. Haifa Fahoum Al Kaylani, Founder and Chairman of AIWF, and Mr. Edmond Moutran, Chairman and CEO of Memac Ogilvy, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Beirut, to mark the partnership.
Mrs. Haifa Al Kaylani said “We are delighted and look forward to working with Memac Ogilvy, an internationally acclaimed integrated communications provider and a leading organisation within its industry”. She added: “we are jointly aiming to raise awareness of women’s achievements in the region and to forge a successful partnership”.
Mr. Edmond Moutran commented: “We are thrilled to be working with the Arab International Women’s Forum and hope to highlight the importance and progress of women’s successes in the Arab World”. He added: “As one of the leading agencies in the Middle East and North Africa region, we feel it is our duty to promote and support the cause of women’s empowerment and participation in the regional economics. My team will develop and execute the most advanced and innovative PR techniques to progress the mission of AIWF”.

AIWF has a growing membership of women involved in key positions within the business, political and professional arenas. With a network of members and contacts spanning over 45 countries, AIWF is able to link Arab business and professional women with each other and their counterparts in the international community to exchange knowledge, experience and develop business potential.
The Arab International Women’s Forum’s guiding principle is ‘Building Bridges-Building Business’, and through this AIWF works as a leading advocate for the educational, economic and political empowerment of woman in the Arab world.
AIWF is continuing to promote programmes that focus on the role of business women in igniting growth and development and gearing its activities to the enhancement of women’s role in the professional environment.
Mr. Moutran, is considered one of the pioneers of advertising in the Arabian Gulf and founded Memac in 1984 in Bahrain with only four people, one client and US$13,000 capital. The company has now expanded to thirteen offices, with over 400 people in the MEA region and he remains Chairman and CEO of the Memac Ogilvy group for the Middle East & North Africa. Memac Ogilvy is the most awarded agency in the MENA region for both creativity and effectiveness.
